Native Plant Garden
One of the greatest things about The Shoals is our natural beauty! There is so much to see. So many plants and animals populate our forests and little hidden enclaves that it is really difficult for folks to take it all in, what we have here in Northwest Alabama.
A group of dedicated individuals has, for the last few years, taken on a special project at the TVA Reservation. A native Plant Garden is there that is absolutely beautiful! And with each season, becomes more attractive as it matures. We went out there with Charles Rose, a pivotal figure in the formation and maintenance of the Native Plant Garden, and took pictures of some of the specimens there. Here's a sample.
